Hello Trish,
Yes, belief is associated with fact. :)

Raum/Trish,

I must disagree belief is not associated with facts. Many people have beliefs that when challenged, by the fire of truth/facts, fade away. Belief is the first stage of study. We are born in belief (faith) and suppose to grow in knowledge (facts/truth). Many beliefs are based in superstition, hearsay, but is never studied to truly understand, the conception of its origin. You can believe or have faith that a plane is sitting in front of your door, however once you open the door, the fact that its not present, manifests itself. Faith is a building block to the attainment of knowledge; however faith alone leaves people hungry, naked, and out of doors.

Agnostic, is not what I am, because I see Deity everywhere, hear its voice everywhere; its glory everywhere. Deity is my essence; Deity is my image; Deity is my form; Deity is my archetypal form before I chose to be. Removing a belief in a personal Deity, allows you, without dogma, or bias, to embrace it all around you. Can man's mind understand its majesty? Yes, it can! Man by a process can understand all that is, or shall be, because, he/she is really all that is, or shall be. All is I and I am the All. The intelligence has evolved and experienced all things, therefore I am all things, yet I am ONE. I can never be Agnostic, because my very existence is the defining, evolving, sustaining evidence; that indeed I am God!

It is beautiful to stand upon the oblong square and measure the designs of the Divine Geometrician and for everything I am thankful.

They are not!

Dear Raum,

I mean no offense, but that is an impossibility.   Perhaps you can
give me an example where belief is associated with fact, as you
say...so I could see what you're seeing.

Thanks.

As an interjection: It is a "fact" that I have "beliefs", therefore in this way beliefs can be associated with facts. That is not to say all beliefs are factual by any means, but that there are cases in which they are reconciled. In this way truth value can be a positve in the subjective sense (i.e. It is a fact that I believe that I am perceiveing X), without being positive in the objective sense (i. e. there is no X to percieve)

Just wanted to say Bright, Bright blessings and I hope everyone enjoys the full moon. And i just wanted to say that i have witnessed with my own eyes the unexplainable and many miracles. Like for instance one fateful day when i was coming out of some perpetual darkness i was driving down the road and just started praying to Lord for some strange and asked for help for us all and that he will just help us and protect the people and then i came to a stop light, traffic was pretty heavy and then some young boy probably about 16 runs across the street and WHAM!! He gets hit by a truck right in front of me and flys at least 10 or 15 feet, As i start to get out of the car he stands up and comes over to the car that hit him right beside me in the other lane unscratched and says that he ok that he is ok and he just continues walking where he was going. So I am sure there is some scientific explanation for this but I find it ironic and crazy that seconds prior i Prayed for help and protection. So therefore i can say without a shadow of a doubt that i am Gnostic.
Love,Light, And Wisdom,

Frater Watkins,

Your statement is very true, and immediately brought to the fourth Hermetic Principle "Polarity":

“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has Its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.“–The Kybalion.

So very true,

In L.V.X
