Glad you like it! I hope some of the others like Bob and Mick wake up and respond ... By the way Wolfgang, glad that you joined, now please jog over to the page, sign in and select "Edit my membership" and put your first name into your "nickname" field! Same to you, Roger. Otherwise you don't show up as a person, but as a mail address.
Now it would be neat if we put the photos there that some of you have written about. If you have difficulty posting them yourselves then PLEASE send them to me via email and I'll get them in the group!
Still hope to wake up Mick and Bob, and anyone else out there who remembers the "Statesmen", the "London Beats" or other groups who were active in the early sixties!
All the best,
Ralph
PS: If you write or reply to the group mail address the-origina...@googlegroups.com then your mail will show up in the "discussions" area of the page.

What a phantastic idea!!! Wolfgang
Sounds great, Mick has some photos of him with Frank, he's going to send them to me as well and I can post them here. Frank's name is spelled "Bennett" though, I still have some info from his business card, the card might even still be in my guitar case:
VINCENT SORGE (WHOLESALE) LIMITED
Registered No. 00549410
2ND FLOOR, 63 CURZON STREET, LONDON, W1J 8PD
This address was on a business card with my old address on the backside (written in Frank's handwriting) and with "Presented by A.F. Bennett" at the bottom of the front.
