Great to read your mail! Those of us involved are more than happy to hear from
someone who experienced this great era of music. Our "Statesmen" played at the "Funny
Crow" in Hamburg in 1965 and 1966, we stood in several times at the Star Club and Top
Ten back then and knew Horst and some of the other "originals" quite well.
Unfortunate that we never met, but it sounds like we were a bit later. Some of us are
still in contact via the Statesmen group, it would be great to hear more from you!

drummer in the 1060,s my band was also called The Statesmen from manchester we also
worked at the Star Club for Manfred Weisledder and Horst Fascher in 1962 and 1963 two
