Hard to understand what they're trying to do when scheduling Flog It! This time we have Trade Secrets Series 1 cutdown version every weekday at 6.30pm on BBC2 but we also have Series 2 on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. No Idea why.

I'm just as baffled as you with the BBC's scheduling at the moment of daytime TV in general. But I heard that Flog It dont plan any valuation days before the end of the year which doesnt sound very promising.Has anyone got any more info?
On the up side I'm glad to see the first series of Trade Secrets being repeated but very odd that its being done in half hour pieces. Are we getting one half after another or have the hour shows been editted?Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of series 2 over the past 3 weeks though.

Someone on another Forum I post on had a stall at Ardingly Antiques fair in July and spotted Paul and Catherine Southon filming for Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, that could be why there are no Flog It Valuation days are planned at the moment, from tweets and posts on Facebook from the other Antiques Experts, filming PYMWYMI does take up a fair bit of their time!

Hi There All,
I have it on good authority (from someone in the know ;) ) that they have just been commissioned to make a third series of Trade Secrets, which is very good news :D

I've really enjoyed this series of Trade Secrets and I'm glad they are making another series, loved the insert with Philip Serrell and his Daughter, she was quite a natural in front of the camera and a bit of a chip off the old block when it comes to knowing her Worcester!

Great news that another series of Trade Secrets is on the cards. And I have to agree that my favourite piece in the last series was Phillip Serrell and his daughter too.

Well after the last two comments I was looking forward to the show with Philip and his daughter in.   I eventually (this morning) got to the one they were in.

But I thought she was probably nervous - we didn't get much eye contact, she was always looking down at the table, which I presume had her notes on, she sounded very automatic and stilted (understandable) and she barely had a smile on her face.   I didn't warm to her at all.   As she's possibly being groomed for future Flog It programmes I'm sure she will get some relaxation and presentation advice and training given to her.

I loved watching the signer for the deaf on the morning repeat of Trade Secrets yesterday especially when he's signing for the auctioneer. But the naughtiness in me cant wait to see if he can keep up with the faster auctioneers like Colin Young....
