Okay. One of the last shots of tonite's ep was a shot of the van and a
statue of Jesus Christ right in front of the church. One the side of
the van it says "Canton-Rainier." Immediately I was realized this was
an anagram for "Reincarnation."
BAM. See where I'm goin' here?

Brilliant. I was wondering why they showed us the name on the side of the van. YES.
Now, I want to think about Christian Shepherd for a minute. I think he's always been connected to the island. Before Jack knew about the island. I wonder if that is why he fled to Australia... maybe to somehow try to get back? Charlotte mentions a father she had but never saw again. Could it be Shepherd? Just some thoughts, I have nothing to back it up, but it does seem significant that she mentions a father and then he shows up in the scene. I think she also mumbles something about Americans...

BTW, speaking of Shepherd, I thought Jacob told Locke to move the island...am I wrong? And If not, dose that make shep Jacob?--

nah wes. we haven't seen jacob yet (or have we?). it was papa shepard that instructed locke though. however, yesterdays theory about farraday is starting to look like a possibilty. even more, it may turn out that farraday IS jacob. my guess is ellois hawking and charles whidmore are farradays parents. at some point farraday will go back in time again to see a younger version of his parents but will this time see himself (and be introduced as such) and will therefore take on a different name to preserve the timeline.

Nice catch Khary! Definitely see where you're going with that one.
We haven't seen Jacob fully, but there are some quick shots (http://
lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Jacob). The actor 'portraying' him is one of
the special effects guys (http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Rob_Kyker)
so we can't tell if it's Faraday, or whoever else. There definitely
has to be some kind of connection between Christian and the Island.
On another note, what if Daniel is Charlotte's father??? And the girl
Daniel ditched is her mother? Charlotte says she never saw her father
again, and remembers Daniel being this scary guy, but she does she
ever say she remembers her father? Maybe the scary guy telling her not
to come back is her Dad...
