I'd love a dropbox file. Styn...@aol.com Thanks Richard. The AXS broadcast of jazzfest was way better than I thought it would be.   Lots of artists including some live as it happened. I only wish they would have broadcast from more than the two main stages.

Hi folks,
This year I attempted to capture TuneIn.com's "New Orleans Jazz Fest Radio"
channel's jazzfest online broadcasts. The results were pretty good... a
wide variety of stuff.
 
One of the highlights I think was Billy Joel's set. I haven't been much of
a Billy Joel fan for 20 years, but this was really good. Man, he sounds
great and still plays the hell out of the piano.
 
TuneIn broadcast four songs from his set. It's lossy, of course, but if you
are interested, let me know and I'll give you a Dropbox link where you can
grab them flac files (source from mp3).
 
axstv - a cable channel - also broadcast stuff on cable. I was unable to
subscribe, so never managed to see anything they did during the actual fest
-- did any of you guys? They did post two videos from this Billy Joel set
(they also supposedly broadcast these same four songs) on youtube. So part
of this flac set is sourced from their high-def aac audio.
 
This file set includes the captured mp3 stream (with no editing or
conversion), the two 1080p high-def youtube videos and then the flac files
I put together from the two sources.
 
I think it sounds pretty good -- obviously from mp3/aac, but worth a
listen.
