well if we can all agree on this book of fanart, it sounds like a lot of fun!! does anyone want to volunteer making it? i don't have a problem with it, i'm seeing aaron at nekocon november 7. he'll get his gift a little late but he'll get it :) we'll have to come up with something definite quick!!! his birthday is in 13 days!!

Well we did do a book of fan letters and fanart for Aaron last year,
put together by Britt. But the doesn't mean that we can't make another
one.

Beth and I were talking the other night about what you might want to
get Aaron [he turns 16 this year]. If you're looking to BUY him
stuff...he LOVES Starbuck's and a giftcard from there is a wonderful
idea. He's also an avid reader and likes Barnes & Noble. He's also a
fan of Pixie Stix...
Keep in mind, you do NOT have to buy him anything; he would be happy
with ANYTHING his fans get him. But some people had e-mailed me
asking for suggestions. He came over for dinner this past Sunday and
I can tell you that he's excited about his birthday and seeing his
fans at his upcoming cons!!

what about this book full of fan-art AND with it starbucks, barnes and nobles, etc. gift cards from those who want to give him one? It'll be the biggest fanart gift card thingy ever!!! we can stick all of the gift cards at the end as a little surprise and whoever sent them could leave a happy b-day note with it...

we need a definite leader to carry this out,cause i feel like were just throwing around this idea of a fanart book and its never gonna get done... will anyone be seeing aaron around his b-day so that they could make/give it to him?! i'm gonna see him nov 7 at nekocon but that might be a little late for a b-day present...
i'm wanna contribute to the fanart book too!! it sounds like so much fun and we should get it finished asap!!!! ...if we were to start making it now-ish would that be enough time to have fans send their artwork to the creator of the book? maybe it would be a good idea to give it to him a little late so that fans could have more time to mail

And It might be better to give it to him later, so that way more
people could contribute. In my opinion, anyways. I'd carry it out if I
wasn't such a noob, lol. I'm not a mod or anything, so I probably

i know i volunteered to make aaron's scrapbook but something came up. this morning i found out that my grandma was hospitalized on sunday. she was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and has been withering away ever since. she was having trouble breathing saturday and the doctors say that her lungs are beginning to shut down, they say she only has about two weeks. my grandma is being very brave and decided not to go on life support. i really need to be with my family the next couple of weeks. i'm really sorry but i don't think that i can work on the scrapbook, even though i volunteered to make it if you guys needed me too...
