[The Oasis Fan Guide] Random Oasis Facts from Childhood: From Brothers to Oasis

I am a bit of a nerd when its to Oasis (like you haven't noticed that yet!) so my Oasis books are highlighted, yes highlighted, with interesting Oasis facts, cos well I used to write a lot of reports about them when I was in school! Here are a few from Paul Gallagher's book Brothers from Childhood to Oasis: the Real Story.

In a school play at the age of five Liam played King Herod but couldn't remember his lines and ended up singing the like Elvis.

In high school Liam dyed his hair blond (it turned orange) and had a dangly earring in his pierced ear.

Liam's first job was putting up fences making 60pounds a week, everything was fine under they asked him to clean the toilets.

Noel worked in the tool shed handing out nuts and blots at a gas subcontractor, later Liam got his job.

Paul Hewitt saved Liam from drowning in the River Mersey after his brothers failed to watch him properly.

As a child Liam if he was annoying Noel , Noel would give him this very stern look and Liam would know to shut up.

At nine Liam insisted on having a guitar AND a violin and would walk to school with them in both hands.

As a child Noel would never die properly when playing cowboys and Indians.

Noel was a really fast runner and was really good at doing a fosbury flop over garden hedges.

When Noel was five or six he tried to ride a big dog like a horse, and the dog bit his arm.

At school Noel broke BOTH his arms after falling into a steep embankment after the rope on a swing broke.

Noel once calmly pulled a dart from his brother Paul's head, after her had been shot by bullies.
