[The Oasis Fan Guide] Information Sunday: The Oasis Fan Guide

On Monday will be OFG's 200th post! Pretty good right!! Anyways I thought I would post a few tibits about The Oasis Fan Guide:

Who: My name is Jenny, I am a 20 something 13 year American Oasis fan. I have been in the "Oasis Community" (how nerdy does that sounds?) since 1999. I am married to a fellow Oasis fan (tis how we met). Through 1999-2002 I ran a websites called Shake Along With Me (the most Creative Oasis site around was the motto!) as well other Oasis sites called "Andy Lovers Club", "Patsy Rocks Club" ( that didn't last long!) The Oasis Fan Guide (no not this one another one that never really got off the ground!). I frequent the Live4ever.us forum A LOT. My favorite Oasis website is www.stopcryingyourheartout.com.

What: In 2007 I had been out of Oasis online world for a bit (getting married, and world win romance will do that!) and of course my love for Oasis never wained, and I was dying to get back into the online world of Oasis. But I had had website before and they never were offical done! Like all the sections up and running! There was always something to do! But then I found blogger! It was perfect! The sections made themselves and all I had to do was create a banner ( my fave thing to do!) The Oasis Fan Guide was born.

Where: Long Island, New York. I am not a city girl, in fact I live a county and boro away from New York City. Lets just say all the famous people going out to the Hamptons pass me on the way out!

How: God Bless Blogspot! I think of most of my ideas in my "headquarters". I do lot of my thinking at work as well during slow periods (my work is quite inspiring!). Also if you haven't notice I have themes for each day of the week which makes it a bit easier to thing of posts!

Why: I love Oasis. It is simple as that I just LOVE Oasis. Truly whenever I seem them in concert I want to just give them a huge group hug. I know that sounds odd, or a bit fan girlish, but Oasis has given so much joy to my life, I don't know where I would be without them. So I give them this, the Oasis Fan Guide, my tiny little tribute them. OFG turns no profit and sometimes I do get a bit annoyed with them (we doesn't get annoy with the people we love?) but please don't EVER doubt my love for them! I really hope the nearly 200 people who visit daily love it as much as I do!

Just a Note: I am dyslectic. No two ways around it, I leave out words, misspell them, write odd sentences. So please bare with me, I try to reread a lot, but in my hast to post something new, things get overlooked. Also I have a degree in Visual Arts and I am working at the moment in getting my Art History B.A. , so please bare with me if I start comparing album covers to Impressionism or something :D
