As we get ready to say good bye to the Spring of 2010 and Hello to the
Summer of 2010. We have two events we would like to invite our
community to participate in...

Wednesday, May 12, 2010 (Tomorrow)
Take a break from report writing or cramming for finals and join
Milano Student Groups for an End of Semester party. Hosted by:
- Change Forum - The New Voice / Toastmasters - Net Impact -
Milano Global - Students for Social Justice
Students, Alumni and Community Members are all welcome.
8:15 pm in the lobby of the Parsons building, 2 W. 13 Street (pizza)
9:30 pm Forum Bar, 127 4th Ave, (btw 12th and 13th Streets)

Friday, May 14, 2010 - ELECTION DAY, SCHOLARSHIPS, FOOD & DRINKS -
6:00pm - 8:00pm, 6 East 16th Street, Room 1107.
The New Voice will present the nominated candidates for 2010-2011 and
hold elections for the candidates. We will be voting for President, VP
of Education, VP of Membership, VP of Publicity, Secretary, Treasurer
and Sgt at Arms. Positions are open to both student leaders and
community members. Put your leadership skills to the test.

May 14 is also the final day to apply for scholarship funds. If you
know a New School Student that is interested in improving their public
speaking and communication skills, have them come to this meeting to
learn more about how their membership fees can be paid for. We plan to
hold meetings over the summer so take advantage of this opportunity.

Dinner party - while we listen to candidates convince us of why they
should be our leaders next year and we sign people up for
scholarships, come enjoy some great Italian food, chips, dips, hummus,
vegetables, fruits, cookies and drinks.
