BRAINSTORMING/LOOKING FOR RESOURCE FOR YOUTH BEING RAISED BY GRANDPARENTS

Good morning all,

In a meeting this morning with Harwich Youth Services, we talked about the need for social/support opportunities for youth being raised by grandparents. At our Wednesday, CBHWG meeting, we heard an anecdotal report indicating that we may have as many as 2,500 - 4,000 households on the Cape where grandparents are raising grandchildren. 

Is anyone aware of a group, activity, etc that offers a forum/way for these youth to come together, particularly on the Lower/Outer Cape? Please feel free to share any thoughts, ideas and of course, resources.
