"For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin."
Each individual man, woman, child who composes mankind is a sinner.
Paul points out in Romans 3:13-16 that "their throat is an open
tomb... the poison of asps is under their lips; whose mouth is full of
cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood (consider
the high incidence of violent crime, murder, and abortion that infects
our society); destruction and misery are in their ways (whatever man
touches he corrupts)." All of this shows that there is no person who
seeks after God and no person does what is right. Each individual
man, woman, and child needs the righteousness of God. Without God's
righteousness no one can ever enter or stand in God's presence.
Plainly, every man, woman, and child needs to have a new life because
each is a sinner.
