EXPO on The LOOK

[The_Look]

I've spoken to Bob Levene and Geert-Jan Hobijn at the Cornerhouse in
Manchester, where they present their projects, 'Experiments for
Speakers: The Space Between' and 'The Ultrasound of Therapy',
respectively. The projects are the part of EXPO, UK's annual festival
of sound and experimental music.

The interviews focused mainly on the work they present now in
Manchester, but we've spoken a bit about their background and their
views on sound, its origins and use. Lynn Pook, who joined Staalplaat
Soundsystem for 'The Ultrasound of Therapy', has also taken part in our
broadcast.

The programme is in rotation on QT Radio at www.superchannel.org from 7
July, and will subsequently be archived.

EXPO is at the Cornerhouse in Manchester (Oxford Road, close to Oxford
Road rail station) until 30 July.
