A few quick additions to Saraya's list ... Peep the new exhibit at Land of Tomorrow on Friday, then make the quick drive (or drive quickly) to the vile 'ville to see Chain and the Gang (Ian Sevonius of Make Up/Nation of Ulysses) w/The Hive Dwellers (Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening/Dub Narcotic Sound System accompanied by our buddy Fred Thomas of Saturday Looks Good To Me/Citycenter) at Skull Alley ('We pride ourselves by our motto, "D.I.Y. doesn't mean it has to suck.'" - all ages). Saturday, consider trippin' down to Lower 48 for the Cincy hip hop/out-jazz duo ISWHAT?!. Sunday, hug your mama.
And, to double down on a couple of Saraya's picks ... Get your azz
to the Sidecar (next to Al's - corner of 6th and Limestone) on Thursday
night to catch the dj set by two of my favorite mens, Will 'The Burch'
Burchard and Brian 'BLT' Turner. And, do not miss the heavy scene with
OFFONOFF and Rafael Toral at Land of Tomorrow on Tuesday.
Get out. Have fun. Love, Ross
