Subject: Some Important Things About Saturdays Meeting
The Langleys Senior Cohousing Group Business Meeting is being held In the dining room at Windsong Cohousing on Saturday, November 30th from 10am to Noon.
To Get There:
Windsong is located at 20543 96th Avenue, Langley, BC
Exit Hwy #1 (Trans Canada) northbound at 200 Street. Take the first right turn onto 88 Avenue. Drive eastbound to 208 Street, turn left, and drive north to 96 Avenue. Turn left to drive west along 96th, past 206 Street and watch for WindSong on your right. You'll see a large building with a peaked glass roof. You'll find visitor parking on the left.

When you arrive, if the front door is not open, ring the doorbell and Yonas will answer.
Yonas Jongkind , Gary Morrison, and Alan Carpenter will be on hand to share their expertise regarding development of cohousing communities.
The Agenda Will Look Something Like This:
1. Joining the project.
a. What does an associate member look like?
- Obligations, rights, cost
b. What does an equity member look like?
- Obligations, rights, cost.
2. Project Information
a. What shall we say about home prices?
- Price range, budgets
b. What shall we say about rentals?
c. What shall we say about affordability?
d. How shall we communicate about the site?
3. Timelines and Land Status Update
a. We're making slow but steady progress with the land negotiations. Timing for signing an agreement is now in early 2014.
Potluck Lunch - Noon to 1pm
Anyone who is interested in taking part in a potluck lunch should bring a lunch item to share.
Tour of Windsong - 1pm to 2pm
This is highly recommended if you have not already had a tour. This is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for what is really working in an already established cohousing community, as well as a chance to discuss some of the things that are less than optimal. Windsong was the first architecturally designed cohousing community in Canada.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding any of this.
Kindest Regards,
Camille
