Year Nine of the LLL!

Happy Summer Boys,

I hope this July finds you well and everyone is enjoying the nice weather.

It seems that we are embarking on our ninth year of fantasy competition with the LLL

I cant believe it has been 8 years since we first met at the Jones Tree House.

Here are some fun facts that were happening 8 years ago during our inception.

• President Bush was still in office and signed a stimulus package for the US
  
• Gas prices averaged $3.39 gallon across the country
• Sony’s Blu-ray HD format now has about 70 percent of the new high-definition market 
  
• Philadelphia Phillies defeated Tampa Bay Rays, 4 games to 1
  
• New York Giants defeated New England Patriots, 17-14
  
• Boston Celtics defeated Los Angeles Lakers, 4 games to 2
  
• Heath Ledger died of a drug overdose

Its scary how fast time flies!!!

Since our last Draft, we have had 3 of our members create human spawn!  Can you guys which baby goes to who?

Alot can happen in 1 year!

Onto Fantasy football,  

We are approx 1 month away from our BBQ and Pick Selection Date.   I am extremely excited to see most of you and will miss the rest.

The Draft is happening over Labor Day weekend.   Saturday at Cella's as usual.

This year at the Draft, please bring any league concerns or motions for new league rules so we can vote moving forward.

I have a special surprise for the League which will remain a mystery!

Next year will mark our 10 year Anniversary as a league.

If we want to do something special and unique, it would makes sense to discuss and try to plan now as we all have really busy lives and the soon we get to next year, the harder it will be to pull off an epic draft party celebration.  Some suggestions have been * A box at Eagles stadium * 1 night at Atlantic City  *  Reserving a room at a Pub/Restaurant

I look forward to seeing you guys soon and hope life is treating you well as we near the mid mark of the 2016 summer.
