I apologize for the delay. I was out of town since Sunday night and just got in. Hopefully my math is accurate, feel free to correct me if I made a mistake.
Eddie Winner: The MAshers
It seems that the ugly janitor has magically turned into Cinderella and is rocking it at the Ball. Our Fairy Godmother “bibbity bobbity boo’ed” us to 152.6 points. All of the little critters pitched in - with two of our mice turning into stud horses getting almost 3 touchdowns a piece. Everyone except TJ Yeldon was in double digits. And we even got 17 points from the glass slippered foot of Gostkowski. Jack put up a strong showing with 96 points, but by the time the clock struck 12 it just wasn’t good enough.
Quad Balls: Finger Luckin’ Good
In strange revenge fashion, Drew ends up with his own Quad Balls award this week squeaking out another near-tie by less than 2 full points.
Super Sharted: Los Pollos Hermanos
I believe we actually have 2 super sharted candidates this week. Cella’s bench outscored his losing team 74.6 to 67.1 Meanwhile, the Breaking Bad reference doesn’t seem to be helping Jeff much at all as his bench outscored his starters by an even greater margin - 93.5 to 76.6
Bottom Feeder: Fuzzy Dunlop
In a repeat performance, Fuzzy Dunlop takes the Bottom Feeder award. However, this week was quite competitive as he scored a respectable 96.1 points to beat The Konami Code’s lowly 67.1.
Wait, We Aren’t Playing Golf?: The Konami Code
Cella is struggling out the gate this season and managed to come up with only 67.1 points. While he also finished as runner up to the Super Sharted, he wins this award outright.
Poopy Pants: The Konami Code
This was almost a trifecta week for Cella - and not in a good way. Barely missing out on the race for Super Sharted and scoring the fewest points, Cella decided to take the brave play of not replacing a kicker on bye. While he lost by more than an average kicker would have netted, his DST got him negative points for a second week in a row. I think The Konami Code need to rethink their special teams approach!
