We are a group of ordinary citizens: bloggers, factory workers, entrepreneurs, engineers, you name it. The American Conservative Party is not funded by a billionaire or political has-been with a personal agenda; this is America, as mainstream as it get. We are local citizens committed to a better future for our children, a cleaner environment, and more prosperous communities, through policies which embrace: freedom in education, property rights, and limited government.
Ron is a down to earth guy that will shoot you straight. Ron is also a man that will hold true to his conviction. Like Ron, the Ronald McDonalds are loyal to cause, whether it be through winning or losing. Ron is at the bottom of the pile, but I don't think it will be for long. Ron's team has shown some good spurts and the field is still tight knight at this point in the game. Ron, play your game as you are convicted, and I believe you will be there come playoff time. You have some cornerstone players in Russell Wilson/Edelman and Olson but the Jamaal Charles injury really hurt your RB depth. Stay the course, play conservative, and run the race. See you at the end. However, dont be afraid to be a little less conservative on the Waivers and take some flyers to build up your RB depth. Sometimes a little risk will prove to produce High Reward. #8 Moutoux's Shechem - The Modern Whigs
One of the big arguments in American politics is whether there is a place for a true middle-ground party to represent the moderates who don’t find a consistent home in either the Republican or Democrat parties. The Modern Whigs are seeking to fill that void. Begun in 2008 by veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, the Modern Whigs believed that neither party was fulfilling their obligations to the American people, and sought to fill the void being created by the polarization of the two major parties. Their platform is centrist, and based in pragmatism and what they believe is common sense. The best description we can come up with is that they’re slightly libertarian centrists that avoid the populism of earlier middle-ground third parties.
Like the Whigs, Moutoux's team always seems somewhat Lukewarm to me over the years. Moutoux never really breaks away form the middle of the pack, but you'll never really see him bringing up the rear(At least in fantasy football that is). Moutoux is one of only 3 players in our league that has never been a Top 3 finisher. Can you guys the other 2? I love my Arch nemesis, but for us to be true rivals you needs to have a better beard and a better fantasy team. Its not fun beating you all the time, it makes for low entertainment ;)
Speaking to your team, The seahawk D is great, you have a pair of sexy receivers in AJ Green and TY Hilton(Andrew Luck seems to be returning to form.. a little late I might add), and Dalton is having a career Year giving you AJ green/Dalton combo points on any given sunday. Your RB situation, like Ron, is a little Sketchy with Lynch kinda on the injury fritz and Jeremy Hill and the majority of the RB's on your team being part of committee work. I see you finishing as you have in the past, somewhere between good, but not great.
#7 Well look who is slowing making a rise... Pollos Hermanos - The Tea Party.
The Unity Party supports a Balanced Budget Amendment, a shift of Federal taxes from income to carbon emissions, a full health care tax deduction for those "forced" to pay for their own health coverage, a "Tithe Pool" to guarantee entitlements on a year-by-year basis, term limits of two terms for US Senators and four terms for US Representatives, outlawing the drawing of legislative districts along partisan lines (i.e., gerrymandering), and appointing panels of retired judges to oversee the drawing of legislative districts.[31] The party's motto is "Not right, not left, but forward.
Jeff has always been a huge proponent of unity. Whether it was at PBU speaking at chapel or in his tree house apartment starting a fantasy football league, Jeff has the give of bringing people together.
It seems this same shift of unity may be leaking over to his fantasy football team as inklings of last year begin to show themselves trending again. Jeff started off shaky, but with a healthy Drew Brees leading his team and a asurging Devonte Freeman. Jeff seems to have the makings of another Championship season. Jeff also is one of the few teams in our league that has elite talent at each position, minus a mediocre TE position. Lets see if Jeff can keep his team unified on the same page and make it 3 years in a row!
#6 Your killing me smalls - Schopf III - The Bull Moose Party
The Progressive Party of 1912 was an American political party. It was formed by former President Theodore Roosevelt, after a split in the Republican Party between him and President William Howard Taft.
The party also became known as the Bull Moose Party after journalists quoted Roosevelt saying "I feel like a bull moose" shortly after the new party was formed. Like this Party, Bob is not afraid to create waves in the league if it means getting the victory. Bob and I have gotten into a few verbal altercations when it comes to Trade Policy and Approach, but in the end, we try to always find common ground.
Teddy Roosevelt was an awesome president and a great sportmans. Bob's team has all the right pieces and the trick will be if they all click on 8 cylinders come playoff time. As we have seen in the past. its the hot team, not the best team, that winds the league. Aaron Rodgers, Eddy Lacy, Lesean Mccoy, Landry, Keenan Allen, Woodhead and Panthers D sounds like a championship team to me.... but.. the real question is if we will see all these guys come into their own in December.
"It is only through labor and painful effort, by grim energy and resolute courage, that we move on to better things."
Theodore Roosevelt
#5 Denver Taco Scanlan - The US Marijuana Party
The United States Marijuana Party (USMJParty) is a cannabis political party in the United States founded in 2002 by Loretta Nall specifically to end the war on drugs and to legalize cannabis. Their policies also include other socially libertarian positions. Local chapters have been formed in 8 states, and they are affiliated with a number of international cannabis political parties.
Some may argue that Jack may have been High a few times during the draft party while selecting his team. Peyton Manning in the first round, Cody Latimer over Emmanuel Sanders as his keeper, or most recently the Jones/Scanlan trade that landed Arian Foster as Jeff's keeper and Jack 2 spots up in the.... 7th round..... for Rashad Jennings. I think it is best to think that Jack was indeed high and not sober in order to justify his drafting credibility.
But like the marijuana movement, Jack is on the brink of legalizing himself into LLL Stardom. No matter what team he picks, Jack seems to always be there at the end, knocking at the Door his first championship. With Peyton Manning finishing up his career, lets see if Jack can put one in the books with a Manning brothers QB combo, Ivory and company. i'm not sure i have as much faith this year as I have had in years past.
#4 Luckin Good- Drewby - Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party (BTP) was a U.S. political party named after the event known as the Boston Tea Party of 1773.
The political party's ideology was libertarian. A group of former Libertarian Party (LP) members founded the party in 2006. They criticized the LP for its "abdication of political responsibilities", saying that "Americans deserve and desperately need a pro-freedom party that forcefully advocates libertarian solutions to the issues of today"
Like the Tea Party, I will fight King and Country (Commissioner and League) when it comes to fantasy football and what I hold to be true and just!
I will stop at nothing, whether it be through trade or waiver wire, to better my team and put myself in a position to win it all. I hope this year I can finally rid myself of the Scarlett letter and finally win my first championship.
#3 Sethykins - Something about - Peace and Freedom Party
The Peace and Freedom Party went national in 1968 as a left-wing organization opposed to the Vietnam War. Sethykins takes a huge beating from everyone in the league, yet always is a good sport and keeps the peace. Seth, like myself, has been with the league for some time and has never won the title. The Leveon Bell pick seems well worth it as his fantasy value is much more important in December than January. Hopkins is having a great year and Barnidge seems to be a staple in Cleveland. Maybe you can leverage him with a Moutoux trade? Good luck! i hope to beat you in the end
#2 Pileggis
The party believes that the federal government's role should be quite limited in domestic matters, limited in foreign affairs in the Washingtonian sense, and they hold that these positions are required by the Constitution. They support enforcement of laws against illegal immigration, and on constitutional and economic grounds, they seek to end U.S. involvement with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and World Trade Organization (WTO). The America First party opposed the 2003 invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq, and refers to the Iraq war as unconstitutional. On constitutional grounds, the party calls for an end to all foreign aid, without exception.
Pileggis, you guys are always hard to beat year in and year out. you also have not won the title, but this year looks more promising than most. While not having the sexiest player on your team, you seems to be squeaking out wins. You guys, like moutoux, are pretty much middle ground players, but for some reason, like the Steelers, I have good feelings about you this year. Like the Party above, you keep your team domestic and limit your trades with the league (Immigration) and minimal spending on the waiver. Let see if your inward, conservative focus can carry you to end!
#1 Kevan - The Donald Trump Party
The real deal or just a spark in the bucket. I know you have the stats Kevan but I don't know if you have the staying power. Trump introduces to the Political world something that we have yet to see in history, the power of reality politics. We live in a twitter, Facebook culture where popularity indeed can win at times. Kevan your team is full of familiar names and past stars, but do you have what it takes to win with this squad. You, like Trump, are a question mark to me. While all the numbers are in your favor, I for one, dont believe you will win the primary and be the Republican Candidate or the next president... Sorry bud.
Thats all folks! Happy Tuesday night.
