Just a reminder that this event is happening today. 

Iraqi civil society leaders and U.S. military veterans will testify to the lasting impact of the war and make the case that the U.S. government must be held to account for the serious damage it has caused.

The People's Hearing will be moderated by Phil Donahue, creator and host of The Phil Donahue Show and Co-Director and Co-Producer of the film Body of War.

Speakers
Yanar Mohammed is president and co-founder of the Organization of Women’s Freedom in Iraq (OWFI).

Falah Alwan is President of the Federation of Workers Councils and Unions in Iraq (FWCUI).

U.S. Military Veterans will speak about their experiences with Military Sexual Trauma, Deployment with Trauma, and environmental impacts.

Mozhgan Savabieasfahani is an environmental toxicologist with a focus on health impacts of war.

John Tirman is Executive Director and Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Center for International Studies.

Pamela Spees is a Senior Staff Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights.
