The Kids Room is getting the New Year off to a great start with these fun activities for kids of all ages!  Stop by and join the fun!


Jones Makerspace (Ages 8-12)

January 9th 2:00pm-3:30pm in the Woodbury Room

Join us for creative exploration with all kinds of materials and tools. From modeling clay to Perler beads (above) and Lego, we have lots of supplies to experiment with. If technology is your favorite way to create, try 3D printing!

Saturday Stories, Songs and Crafts (Ages 0-5)

January 9th 10:30am-12:00pm in the Woodbury Room

Stories and songs with Julie and her ukulele, and a simple seasonal craft.

 

Afternoon Preschool Storytime (Ages 0-5)

Tuesday afternoons 2:00 p.m.-2:45

This interactive preschool story time is open to all kids from birth to age 5-- but especially designed for kids who attend morning programs or school sessions. Come hear stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, and do a simple craft. Mia (the new library lady) is REALLY excited to meet new friends and families!

 

Sing With Your Baby

Back by popular demand!!!

Tuesday Mornings 10:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. in the Woodbury Room

January 12th, 19th, 26th

Wendy Plummer sings with babies and toddlers and their caregivers during this special winter session of Sing With Your Baby. The program features a sing along as well as time for children to play with musical instruments.

Teen Advisory Board is back!

Tuesday, January 12th from 4:00pm-5:00pm in the Crafts Room.

Open to all teens interested in joining and sharing their opinions for library services and programs for teens.

(P.S. Participating in the Teen Advisory Board can count for community service or volunteer hours for school!)
