Early December Programs in the Jones Library Youth Room

Join us for some fun new programs and some old favorites in the Jones Library Kids Room this December!


Winter Craft  Saturday December 5th 10:30 — 11:30 am in the Woodbury Room. For ages 4—10  (Ages 4—6 need to be accompanied by a caregiver.)

Create a polar bear craft and a watercolor/salt winter painting. This is a free program.  Registration not required.

Jones Library/ ARPS Makerspace Saturday December 5th or 19th  2:00-3:30 pm in the Woodbury Room. Ages 8-12.

Join us for a special collaboration between the Jones Library and the Amherst Regional Public Schools as we offer this second series of Makespace programs (do-it-yourself spaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn). We will have creative tools and equipment from robotics and coding programs to modeling clay and craft supplies.

After School First and Second Grade Book Club Thursday December 10th 4:00-5:00.

Our first book discussion club for First and Second Graders! We will be discussing The Story of Diva and Flea by local author Mo Willems and local illustrator Tony DiTerlizzi. Come for great discussion and a craft! Snacks will be provided.

Register in the Kids Room and pick up a copy of the book.
