Bad news: The Broccolis sold creative control over Bond. Good news: Once Amazon's deal is inked later this year, production can begin on the new Bond film!

Cubby Broccoli produced for about 30 years, then his children for another 30 years or so. Would YOU like to produce Bond? It costs only a billion dollars for creative control, so since you've already commited to pay, JEFF, why not ask OTHER people who should be Bond? Jeff Bezos got much free publicity from this week's Instagram stunt asking for casting, but can you imagine the Broccolis EVER asking outsiders for that kind of input? It's a brave new world, with new enemies, but you can still depend on one man, etc.
