BOND - [trying to hide his boredom] "What gadget do you have for me this time, Q?"

Q - "The key."

BOND - "To the fair ladies' hearts?"

Q - "Not merely a key, OO7, the key. You would have been named "Alphonse Bond" or perhaps, [pauses dramatically] "Renato," without this chap's having been born."

BOND [raises an eyebrow] - "Come again, Q?"

Q [patiently explains] - "His brother's name was James or "Jacob," actually, in the original Hebrew. "James" was coined in English from the New Testament Greek. Wrote the epistle your parents named you after."

BOND [Shaken, not stirred, now, curious and hesitant] - Right.

Q [very excited] - "Now pay attention, OO7! The key I am speaking of is the key to eternal life in Heaven, found in one man. This was His mission. You are not the only person endeavoring to save the world, you know. Trusting Him, in what He has done for you and me, dying for us and rising from the dead forever, you receive life in His name. And Heaven knows, you need all the lives you can get, OO7! You know the name."

BOND [grins] - "I may have the number now as well, Q. Thank you for sharing with me."
