Hi All,

Paul here from the frosty North .... Georgian Bay, Canada.

I'm the PROUD new owner, or is it keeper of an Islander 29
Here are all the details;

"Mystic Fate" 1969 Hull # 166(H40209) 526466
Gas Atomic 4 30hp engine

Love reading the posts so far ... I'll be adding my fair share later on as well as LOTS of questions no doubt. Now onto the process of making her ours, beginning with a celtic symbol on the forward deck.

Paul

Very good looking vessel you have Paul.
My boat doesn't have a teak trim around the windows inside. Was it a factory setup of your own addition?

Wecome! It's always nice to have new members join the club. You've got a most handsome boat -- well done.

I really like the (teak?) rubrails.

Does anybody else have rubrails? Were they an option from the factory or were they added?

My other boat (an ETAP 22i) has them (Rubber not wood), and boy do they make docking less stressful. I wasn't sure they would look right on an I29.

We're on Lake Ontario, I'd love to get up to Georgian Bay someday.
