This time all the money will be raised to Fundacion Patas Arriba in which I have been a member since 2016.
In 2016, the experience as volunteers and adopters led a small group of people to create the multicultural and multigenerational association VOLUNTARIOS ITINERANTES. We have volunteers of all ages, from retirees to children who have grown into adolescents volunteering with their parents helping shelters and discovering the ethical and emotional bonds created with animals. We wanted to improve the quality of life of animals living in shelters and increase their chances of being adopted because most shelters do not have the economic means or volunteers to carry out their work.
Last year all our work got rewarded by the generation of our foundation called PATAS ARRIBA.
We believe that the relationships between humans and pets can transform into healthy, long-lasting bonds through education and awareness. For this we conduct workshops and activities at schools and universities to incorporate animal welfare as a subject in schools, and we work to increase awareness about pets, their bond with humans and their reality in our environment through research projects.
We still are “Voluntarios Itinerantes” and we carry out many projects to support responsible adoption and avoiding uncontrolled reproduction of pets, to help animal rescues shelters and to generate a friendlier coexistence in cities between humans and pets.

I have enough coffee, milk and juice but only 7 cakes at the moment plus cookies, donuts and sandwiches, it would be nice to have some more cakes!
