Next and Past Incubakers bake sale!

Dear Incubakers,

Yesterday we raised 750 euros for NGO Mediterranea!!

In the name of the organizer, Livia, and all the Mediterranea team, thank you very much for amazing cakes, for beverages and for all the help. 

We are on a roll, in just one week we have done two breakfasts with very high numbers. Congratulations to everyone and let's keep working to keep up the pace!

The next bakesale will be very soon, Tuesday March 7th. All the money will be raised for a new project with an NGO of Mexico, Building Health, a Mexican youth organization that provides free services on health and education to vulnerable communities in Southern Mexico. It focuses its efforts specially on indigenous communities.

I send you a document with more info about the NGO, but I think its really interesting the new project they are working on with us, and where we are going to send all the money arised in the bakesale:

In collaboration with The Incubakers, Building Health is creating a new project called “Inglés para todos” (English for everyone) which will provide English classes to indigenous children between 10 and 15 years old living in small communities of North Chiapas.The project is scheduled to start in August 2023, during the summer vacation, and expects to have 200 children attending the English intensive classes during the 4 weeks of duration. The classes will be structured for beginners because it will be the first contact of the individual to the language, and it will count with the support of 6 professional English Teachers.The classes are planned to happen 3 days per week with a duration of 90 minutes each in small groups of 25 students per cohort. For this project, it counts with the support of Incubakers, the Municipality of Rayón, Chiapas, and local donors.

Discussing it with Jackie, we believe that the key to success in the last ones was the number of cakes, so we ask you to make a big effort to have a large number of cakes!
