to The Important Questions
All,

I have written a piece which may be of some interest to some of you, dealing with how to square two seemingly incompatible ideas:

- That it appears consciousness has effects in the world (for example, causing David Chalmers to write a book on the subject, or people to talk about their sensations).

- That physics appears to be causally closed (only physical things can affect physical things).

This essay is my attempt to show how both ideas can be true, and consistent.
