So... before I start thinking too much about the next adventure. I
wanted to throw out the possibility of running something else. If we
were to play something else, this would be a good time to do so, what
with the natural break and all.

I could do fantasy, but I've also thought about a Victorian Steam Punk
style game, or a Post Apocalyptic game.
I am perfectly happy to keep running M&M, but I thought I would open
the door to something new.

not sure what a victorian steam punk game would be. post apocalyptic game is good. a different M&M game with different characters as we have lost several would be good (and since we now have the book and know a little more of the system)  :)  but i'm up for anything ya have in mind.

Steam Punk is sort Jules Verne, Captain Nemo, Airships, Big Clunky High Tech stuff powered by steam or wind up mechanisms. It woul dbe late Victorian 1890 - 1910 time period.

This isn't a demand, just an opportunity.

I read "the Difference Engine", it was cool. I tried
China Miéville's "Perdido Street Station" but I didn't
get very far in it. Now, I had the same problem with
Fellowship of the Ring orignially so.... :) Neat,
weird races in it.

So, could you do a post-steam-apocalyptic-punk game?
:D Or you could if things get out of hand in a
steampunk campaign. :)

I'd be good for most anything also; very open minded.
Did you have a particular system in mind?

Hmmm.
That might be a bit much to wrap our minds around.
There might be something there. I think many post apocalyptic games end up with lower than normal tech as normal technology begins to decay. So maybe something like that....

We are not playing tomorrow.
But the next game will, if all goes according to plan, be at our brand new house (well new to us)
8405 Yucca Trail, Raleigh. We closed an hour ago.

Whoohoo! Congrats on the closing.

We'll be looking forward to whatever game we play.
