Autoclavable culture tube rack

Robert,

What are the dimensions of the sterilizable culture tube rack offered in the biology kit?  I have a choice of free pressure cookers, and I need to figure out which one is going to be big enough for the tube rack.  Thanks!

Assembled, the flats are about 11 x 25 cm and it's about 6.5 cm tall. Call it about 4.5 x 10 inches and about 2.6" tall.

I made my own using wire mesh  The size of the culture tube  bend it in a Z shape  quick and cheap to replace also
the mesh was free from a local pet store as it was the off cuts from rolls they sold

Hey, sounds like a good idea to me.  A pressure cooker that'll accommodate the rack in the kit will be a good-sized one.

I bought a good one on Amazon for less than $10 and tossed the unstable plastic one from the kit due to fear of having test tubes fly across the room during transport.  I know the kit cannot afford such a rack but it is needed.
