I used 40 grams of ammonium nitrate in 100 mL of water and the temp dropped from 16.6 degrees C to - 4.7 degrees C.  I cannot find the info on how to come up with the heat of solution to this or the other experiments dissolving 30 g of NaCl and 20 g of NaOH.  Where do I find the answers to what I should have gotten for a result and why?
