Tommy is a 7 year old, sweet, adorable and loving companion that anyone would love to have. His story is heartbreaking as his mom adopted him from us several years ago. She was in good health at the time. She, unfortunately, is going into a nursing home straight from the hospital she is currently in. Her health declined so rapidly and we are heartbroken for both her and Tommy. Tommy is now ALL ALONE! He has a person only coming in once a day to feed him and do his litter. Tommy is extremely affectionate and this has been very hard on him. He needs love and attention and a person to call his own again. If we do not find an adopter, he would wind up by NYC shelter and he will never survive there! Tommy is fully updated with his Vetting as his Mom always made sure he was taken care of. He is neutered and microchipped and does have FIV. He is not active with his FIV and is very healthy and if you know about FIV, you know it's extremely hard to transfer it to other cats. I think he would do best as an only cat though since he's had his mom all to himself for years!
Tommy was found in Phillipsburg, NJ on a Freezing December evening. We took him in immediately and got him to safety. His ear had a bad hematoma and his body was so cold. We got him immediate medical care and searched for an owner who didn't exist. This poor little man was dumped. We got him completely vetted and matched him with the best forever home. But the circumstances have changed and Mom is too ill to care for him anymore. Please help us to help Tommy because we don't want him to be scared and alone anymore. We are out of foster homes and are in urgent need to move Tommy to a direct forever home where he doesn't have to keep being tossed around. The trauma of losing his mom is hurting him so much already!
