Meet Bee Bee Cutie
Bee Bee is the kind of dog who just wants to make her people happy. She’s a natural “people pleaser” who blossoms quickly with a little guidance, some fun training exercises, and—of course—her favorite treat rewards. Whether you’re an experienced dog owner or just starting out, Bee Bee will meet you halfway with her eagerness to learn and connect.
On walks, Bee Bee is a dream. She’s not one to drag you down the street, instead, she prefers relaxed strolls where she can take in all the interesting smells at her own pace. And when it’s time to play? Get ready for some adorable zoomies!
Once Bee Bee feels safe and comfortable, her softer side truly shines. She becomes incredibly affectionate, happily soaking up pets, attention, and quality time with her people. She’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will be right by your side through it all. Bee Bee was a super star at our ‘Bring Your Kid to Work Day!’ she loves all the children and they loved her!
Bee Bee has lived successfully with other dogs before, though the busy shelter environment has made her a bit nervous around louder pups. With a proper two-week shutdown and slow, gradual introductions, she has great potential to thrive in a multi-pet home again. She’s also lived with children of all ages and absolutely adored them, her previous family described her as calm, loving, and even a bit protective.
And here’s the best part: Bee Bee already has a solid foundation! She is fully housebroken, crate trained, and knows commands like “sit” and “paw.” Plus, her strong food motivation makes continued training both easy and fun.
Bee Bee is waiting for someone to give her the second chance she deserves, a calm, patient home where she can settle in, feel safe, and show just how special she is.

Meet Lavender
Lavender is the definition of easygoing. She’s a low-maintenance, gentle soul who finds joy in the simple things, a cozy spot to rest, a tasty lick mat, and being close to her people.
In the shelter, she spends most of her time quietly relaxing on her bed, completely unbothered by the hustle and bustle around her. If you’re looking for a peaceful presence in your home, Lavender might be your perfect match.
Don’t let her laid-back nature fool you, when it’s time to head out for a walk, Lavender is happy to stretch her legs!
One of Lavender’s most endearing traits is her love for people. She lights up when meeting someone new, greeting everyone with a big, happy smile and gentle manners. She’s always polite, keeps all four paws on the ground, and soaks up attention like it’s her favorite treat. Lavender recently attended an event where she met a wide variety of people, including children, and she handled it beautifully. She was friendly, calm, and affectionate with everyone she encountered. She mostly ignores other dogs here at the shelter and may do well with a resident pet, given a proper two-week shutdown and slow, gradual introductions.
She also shows great signs of being housebroken. Lavender keeps her kennel clean, uses the bathroom outside consistently, and already knows commands like “sit” and “paw.” She’s gentle when taking treats and eager to please, making her an easy addition to almost any home.
Lavender is ready to leave the shelter behind and settle into a loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and share her quiet affection.

Meet Akia
Akia is looking for a very special person to give her the understanding and time she deserves. At first, she is unsure of new people and she prefers to make introductions on her own terms and at her own pace. But if you give her that space and patience, you’ll quickly see her softer side emerge. Once you gain her trust, she will be your new best friend and cuddle buddy.
Akia is incredibly affectionate and will happily show it with her signature “hugs” and cozy cuddle sessions. She thrives on connection and wants nothing more than to be close to her person.
She’s also a smart, capable girl with a great foundation, she knows her basic commands, appears to be housetrained, and walks nicely on leash. She’s eager to please and genuinely enjoys learning, making her a wonderful partner for continued training and bonding.
Akia can become easily frustrated and overly excited around other animals, so she’ll do best as the only pet in the home where she can relax and be her best self.
Shelter life can be overwhelming for a sensitive dog like Akia. New environments make her unsure, and she tends to stick close to the people she trusts. Right now, she would greatly benefit from a foster or adoptive home where she can decompress, feel safe, and truly shine.

Meet Velvet
Velvet is shy but sweet girl who’s just waiting for her chance at a loving home. She appears to be housebroken and keeps her kennel clean. She’s also easy to handle, going in and out of her kennel with ease.
Velvet looks forward to her time outside, enjoying trips to the play yard for enrichment and walks with staff and volunteers. It’s her chance to stretch her legs, explore, and spend quality time with people, and she truly makes the most of it.
Velvet isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s ready for some fun. She may bark for attention when she wants to come out and play, just hoping someone will notice and take her on her next little adventure.
Recently, she’s begun showing signs of increased kennel stress, something that’s all too common for dogs who are ready to be in a real home. The noise and the constant activity are starting to wear on her, and what she truly needs is a calm, loving space where she can finally relax. Velvet would greatly benefit from a foster or adoptive home where she can decompress, feel safe, and show her true personality. Even a temporary foster could make a life-changing difference for her. If interested in fostering with the shelter, Velvet would need a dog meet and greet to make sure she would be a good fit for your home.
Velvet is available for adoption, foster or rescue placement.
