Before anyone else says anything else horrible about me, I had no choice. She was my son's dog. My son moved out of state after reaching adulthood. He left her behind. My ex boyfriend of 9 years was the only person who could handle trimming her toes since she hated it and would defensively bite if we were not fast enough. I did try everything to treat her skin condition. To be honest, I believe there is something in my yard she's allergic to besides fleas. She was on nexguard for fleas. I tried everything. It killed me to surrender her but I did it on hopes she could get the treatment she needs. I work too much and do not have the time to spend with her to care for her. My kids are all grown and moved out so my help is gone. She's a very loving dog. I tried so hard to find her a place to live before making this decision. So while no one knew the situation, just know I did what I thought was best for my baby.
