Bagheera’s Christmas Wish: A Family 🎅🏼🏡
Bagheera is an 8-month-old, 33 pound French Bulldog mix who has been at the shelter for 26 days. According to her former owner, Bagheera lived with multiple dogs and cats and did well with them.
Here at the shelter, Bagheera recently met another dog and did well. As with any new match, slow and proper introductions are recommended to help set her up for success. She has also lived with teenage children. While it is unknown how she would do with younger kids, she has been described as sweet and affectionate.
As the shelter has stayed very full, Bagheera is beginning to show signs of kennel stress. The busy and overwhelming environment can be difficult for young pups, and she has had a harder time settling during her stay. When overstimulated, Bagheera can become excitable and may become mouthy. None of these behaviors were noted by her previous owner or during her initial intake, and they may not reflect how she will behave once she is in a calm and stable home.
Outside of the kennel, Bagheera shines. She loves to snuggle, happily considers herself a lap dog, walks well on a leash, knows the sit command, and is said to be crate trained and housebroken. She enjoys toys and loves playtime.
Bagheera is a young, loving, and eager to please pup who is ready to leave the stressful shelter environment behind. With guidance, structure, and affection, she will blossom into the wonderful companion she is meant to be.
Bagheera is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.
