It has been a challenging week to say the least, and we are faced again with another critical intake
This very sweet girl was found with what may be her sibling (ID#: 60109411) near a roadway. A Good Samaritan quickly notified our Animal Enforcement team that she appeared to be hurt. She was unable to get up and her sister stayed by her side until help arrived
The "sister" appears unharmed but this girl wasn't so lucky. Radiographs verify a right humeral fracture that will require orthopedic surgery or possible amputation. We are currently managing her pain levels while we seek rescue placement where she can receive necessary treatment. Despite the discomfort she is in, she is the biggest love bug
She likes to rest her head on the lap of staff members and lick their hands, she even manages to roll to her side for belly rubs.
INFO: ID#: 60108796, 2 year old Boxer, unaltered female, 60lbs, HW negative.
