Subject: Can You Save This Sweet Senior Vulpix?! - Baltimore, MD
- Rescue Needed -

Vulpix 4: unaltered female, 10yo, 9.8lbs

Vulpix 4 was found abandoned alongside three other dogs, all confined together in a crate until a kind Good Samaritan brought them to BARCS. Despite being left behind, this sweet senior girl has remained gentle and affectionate with everyone she meets.

She has several medical concerns that require further diagnostics and continued care. Vulpix 4 has a mammary gland tumor on her right rear mammary chain that needs evaluation, along with senior bloodwork and chest radiographs to help determine the best treatment plan.

She is also dealing with significant eye disease. Both of her corneas have ulcers with new blood vessel growth as the eyes try to heal, and one eye has corneal edema and thick debris that are affecting its clarity and comfort. While she remains bright and loving, these conditions will require ongoing veterinary attention.

Vulpix 4 appears to have so much love left to give. After being abandoned in such heartbreaking circumstances, she deserves the chance to spend her senior years surrounded by comfort instead of uncertainty. She is looking for a rescue partner who can provide the medical care she needs and the loving home every senior dog deserves.

A full medical summary can be provided upon request.
