Roxy - boxer mix, brindle with white, female, ~2y, 38lbs. Roxy is a gentle, sweet girl who’s feeling a bit overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Despite her nerves, she was a total love for us today and walked nicely on leash. She gave us lots of wags and even a few licks once she had a chance to relax outside of the kennels. Roxy appears overall healthy. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender. UPDATE: Dog tested beautifully on 1/21! Playful and outgoing with her partner. Cat tested and passed!

Biscuit - lab/pittie mix, blond, male, 2-4y, 57lbs. Biscuit is a friendly, outgoing boy with a butt that never stops wiggling! He loves meeting new people and still has plenty of energy for a good round of fetch. Biscuit appears overall healthy but possibly has ear mites; his left ear has an old tear that's healing. He came to the shelter as a stray.

Freddy - pittie mix, black/white, male, 4-6y, 60lbs. Freddy is a charming dude, compact, outgoing, and very friendly. He was thrilled to make our acquaintance today and walked great on the leash! Freddie was wearing an extremely tight collar when he came in and is still occasionally breathing hard/coughing. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender.

Rusty - pittie mix, red brindle/white, male, 2-4y, 46lbs. Although he's a little scared in the noise of the shelter, once he's away from the kennels, Rusty is a relaxed, go-with-the-flow sort of gent. He was very easy to handle today and walked great on the leash. Friendly and super cute! Rusty appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as a stray.

Mochi - heeler/hound? mix, black/white, male, 2-4y, 45lbs. Lowrider Mochi is absolutely terrified in the shelter and had to be carried out to meet us today. 😞 He shook the entire time we checked him over. Despite his fear, he's shown absolutely no aggression and only displayed a gentle, submissive temperament. Mochi appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as a stray.

Elsa - pittie mix, white, female, 3-4y, 60lbs. SPAYED! SPECIAL NEEDS - DEAF! Elsa is a happy-go-lucky girl, curious and friendly with a real pep in her step. She loves being outdoors and checking the world out with her nose. Elsa is reportedly completely deaf but does seem to see within a typical range. It doesn't hold her back one bit - she's always happy to make a new buddy, even if she can't hear them say hello. Elsa came to the shelter as an owner surrender. $250 SPONSORSHIP!

Lucien - Shepherd mix, black and tan, male, 4-6y, 45lbs. Lucien is a gentle soul who's sadly very overwhelmed in the shelter. Once he's away from the noise of the kennels, he's able to relax and show off his sweet temperament...and ask for his favorite thing in the world: BELLY RUBS! He's happy to flop over for anybody to request some well-placed scritches. Despite his anxiety at first, Lucien showed absolutely no aggression and let us check him over without any problem. Lucien appears overall healthy. You might recognize Lucien from our lists late last year – he was adopted locally and then set loose onto the cold streets by his most recent family when they decided that they didn’t want him anymore. ☹ He came back to the shelter as a stray and they declined to recover him.

Nova - pittie mix, brindle/white, female, ~1y, 47lbs. SUSPECTED SPAYED due to appropriate scar! Little Nova had just been surrendered moments before we met her, so she was understandably very scared. 😞 She had to be carried out to meet us and shook like a leaf the entire time. Although she was obviously terrified, Nova didn't show any aggression at all. She was very meek and allowed us to handle her without so much as a grumble. Nova appears overall healthy. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender; Nova originally belonged to the surrenderer's son but left Nova behind with his parents. They were unable to give her the time necessary for a young adult dog.

Coco - Rottweiler mix, black/tan, female, 8-10y, 62lbs. Sweet Coco absolutely stole our hearts today - she's so sweet and curious, a natural extrovert that seems to really enjoy meeting new people. She gave us a perfect "sit" for treats and even shook paws once! It's obvious that she was a well-loved pup at one time but she's sadly had it rough for a while. ❤️ Coco is very underweight and definitely needs some TLC to bring her back up to scratch (she is eating well at the shelter and LOVES food/treats.) She also needs a dental badly and a bit of care for some minor scuffs on her legs and feet. Coco came to the shelter as a stray.

Sippy - All-American Mutt mix, reddish blonde, female, ~9y, 48lbs. SPAYED! We can promise that Sippy would be absolutely THRILLED to make your acquaintance because this cheerful girl has yet to meet a stranger! She gave us an impromptu dance of happy tippy-taps today when we first said hello and immediately wanted to have a little fun. So hecking cute! Sippy has a large mass (about the size of half of a tennis ball) on her front left shoulder; it doesn't appear tender. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender.

Delia and Jane - Two Anatolian mixes, black/tan/white, both females, 7-8 months, 50 and 58lbs. Sadly, these two beauties are absolutely petrified in the noise and bustle of the shelter. Both had to be carried out to meet us and wanted to pancake the entire time. 😞 Despite their fear, neither showed any aggression in the least - they allowed us to pick them up, handle them, and check them over without a peep. They are tremendously overwhelmed right now. Delia and Jane appear overall healthy. They came to the shelter as owner surrenders.

Finnegan - Lab/hound mix, blond, male, 1-2y, 51lbs. Finnegan is a total charmer, through and through. He's an outgoing, very friendly boy with a outgoing personality and a butt that never stops wiggling in happiness! He's lanky and slender with a long snoot and is cute as can be with his big brown eyes that readily ask for "more scritches, please!" Finnegan appears overall healthy but does have a few scratches on his face of unknown origin. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender.
