Roscoe Needs Rescue 12 Years, 83lbs
Meet Roscoe, a 12-year-old Lab mix in need of rescue. Surrendered to us through no fault of his own, Roscoe’s previous family describes him as the total package—he’s lived successfully with other dogs, children, and even cats. He is housebroken, non-destructive when left alone, and enjoys car rides.
Since arriving in our care, Roscoe has received a comprehensive intake exam, which revealed significant arthritis that will require ongoing management. Aside from this, he is in otherwise stable condition. Despite his discomfort, Roscoe has proven to be exactly as described—a gentle, affectionate senior who enjoys spending time with staff and volunteers. While he may not be up for long adventures, he still appreciates slow, leisurely strolls and quiet companionship.
Roscoe is ready to spend his golden years in comfort and care, and we are hopeful that a dedicated rescue partner can give him that chance. If your organization is able to help Roscoe, please reach out.
