Please see below- her caption under her first photo explains what she has going on. She needs careful mending, and the shelter is o place for her to get what she needs. If any rescue has an open foster equipped and experienced with medical needs, this big girl would be ever so grateful.
She is currently being held at a local Vet's office, but this is temporary. We are trying to find placement for her, or she will be brought back here to the shelter.

**NEEDS MEDICAL RESCUE** BETHANY CAME AS STRAY 3/6/26. AVAILABLE 3/11/26 @1:30PM. FINAL HOLD DATE 4/19/26. SEX:FEMALE AGE:2YEARS WEIGHT:50LBS. CAME FROM LOWER MONCURE RD-COUNTY. VERY EMACIATED, DEMODEX POSITIVE AND HAS BAD HOOKWORM. HAS A LARGE OPEN ULCER ON REAR LEFT HIP. IS SHOCKINGLY HEARTWORM NEGATIVE.
