WE ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF SPACE AND SOME OF THESE DOGS ARE OUT OF TIME!!!!
THE FOLLOWING DOGS ARE LOCATED AT THE WARREN COUNTY ANIMAL ARK IN WARRENTON, NC (ABOUT AN HOUR EAST OF RALEIGH ON THE NC/VA BORDER). THESE DOGS NEED TO MOVE OUT OF THE SHELTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
ALL OF THE DOGS ARE HEARTWORM TESTED (ALL NEGATIVE UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), UP TO DATE ON SHOTS, RABIES (IF OLD ENOUGH) DEWORMED AND GIVEN A BORDETELLA. ALL NEW RESCUES MUST FILL OUT THE PROTOCOL ATTACHED AND BE APPROVED BEFORE THEY CAN PULL FROM THE SHELTER.
WE DO NOT HAVE LOW COST BOARDING IN THIS AREA, AND THE SHELTER DOES NOT HAVE A FOSTER PROGRAM. ALL EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO HELP WITH TRANSPORT.

Pull fees over 6 months $20.00. Under 6 months $15.00.
RESCUES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE PULL FEES, AND FOR HEALTH CERTIFICATES AND ARRANGING FOR VET VISIT. WE HAVE A MOBILE VET THAT WILL COME TO THE SHELTER FOR HEALTH CERTIFICATES. SPONSORSHIP MONEY WILL ONLY BE SENT TO THE RESCUE (WHEN AVAILABLE) FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF THESE COSTS.

Lady bug is a 2 year old, 56 lbs., unaltered, female, black and white female pit mix. She was picked up as a stray. Lady bug is just as sweet and friendly as she can be. She gets along well with other shelter dogs. Lady bug tested NEGATIVE for heart worms. $20 in sponsorship
Jed is a 2 year old, 43 lb., unaltered, male, blue tick hound. He is social and friendly. He was brought in as a stray. Jed gets along with other shelter dogs. Jed tested POSITIVE for heartworms. $20 dollars sponsorship
Jethro is a 5 year old, 60 lbs., unaltered, male, tri color Treeing- Walker hound. He has an apparent bacterial infection in his ear and has a cherry eye. He is very sweet and friendly. He was brought in as a stray. Jethro gets along with other shelter dogs. Jethro tested LIGHT POSITIVE for heartworms. $20 in sponsorship
Smurf is a 9 month old, 32 lb., unaltered, male, black pit mix puppy. He is just as friendly and playful as he can be. He gets along well with other shelter dogs. Smurf enjoys going for walks on the leash. Smurf tested NEGATIVE for heart worms. $20 in sponsorship
Bobo is a 3 year old, 56 lb., male, unaltered, reddish Shepard mix. He is friendly and social. He goes for walks on a leash. Bobo tested NEGATIVE for heart worms.
Thomas is a 6 month old, 24 ln, unaltered, male, brown lab mix. He is sweet and social. He came in as a stray with 2 other dogs. Thomas enjoys going for walk. Thomas tested NEGATIVE for heartworms.
Pearl is a 2 year old, 60 lb., unaltered, female, white and red retriever mix. She is sweet and friendly. She gets along with other shelter dogs. She was brought in as a surrender due to the owner stating she has a few food aggressive issues. Pearl tested POSITIVE for heart worms.
Blackie is a 8 month old, 32 lb., unaltered, male, black Shepard mix puppy. He is a little shy at first but he is friendly. Blackie has received his first set of shots. Blackie tested NEGATIVE for heart worms.
Mike is a 2 year old, 45 lb., unaltered, male, brown hound mix. He is social and friendly. Mike enjoys going for walks. Mike came in as a stray. Mike gets along with other shelter dogs. Mike tested POSITIVE for heartworms.
Matt is a 2 year old, 52 lb., unaltered, male, tri-color hound. Matt is social and friendly. Matt enjoys going for walk on the leash and is so full of life. Matt gets along with other shelter dogs. Matt tested NEGATIVE for heartworms.
Skip is a 6 year old, 18.2 lb., unaltered, male beagle mix. He is shy at first but he is friendly. He has an apparent skin condition and appears to be blind in one eye. Skip was brought in as a stray. Skip tested POSITIVE for heartworms.
Amy is a 1 year old, 35 lb., unaltered, female, lab/husky mix. She tested NEGATIVE for heart worms. Amy is so sweet. She is social/friendly and she gets along with other dogs here at the shelter.
PRECIOUS is a 8 year old , 7.14lb, unaltered, female, tan and brown pam/chi chi mix. She is friendly and social and is full of life. She will be available for adoption 9/21/2017 after 11 am.
