Error opening a specific file

I'm getting an error when I attempt to open one of my gde files ...
running it under XP I get the ever helpful "The Guide has encountered
a problem and needs to close ..." Details gives me:
AppNameL guide.exe
AppVer: 2.0.0.0
ModName: libguide.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 0000133e
Any thoughts on how to recover this one file ... other gde files open
without a problem.

Sorry to say, but you have a corrupt file. It's happened to me on a
couple of occasions when I lost connection writing a large 200+ MB GDE
to a network drive. It was aggravating to have it happen but I've
since learned to turn "back up" on.
