I’m trying to develop the key cutting code dimensions for the machinist tool chest keys in the chart below so I can eventually post them in ‘The’ Guide. This would make it much easier for a locksmith or for yourself to replace a lost key by using the key number only embossed on the lock.

I have preliminary, logical, code dimensions for most of the key #s in the chart below, but I need the pictures so I can verify and complete the series. I can then determine their cut depths.

If you have one or more of the keys listed in the chart, would you please take a flat picture of it from the key number side. Please post it here by clicking on “Reply to author”. I will receive your email. It won’t actually post on this site.
