I have developed my own Key Cutting Charts for over 200 different keys for the following Machinist Tool Chest’s lid locks: Eagle Lock keys A50M1 thru 48 and A41N1 thru 60; National Lock keys 56-E-1 thru 25; Excelsior Lock keys KY11 thru 98, 411 thru 491 and 151. If I can help you with any of these keys, let me know.

I’m currently trying to develop more Charts for the Yale HG##, Eagle 49Y## and National 392-E-## keys. I’d sure appreciate your posting good overhead pic’s of your keys laying flat on a table and their key number, even if they’re homemade and work.

An example picture is below. Thanks much…….Ted

I would love information on the profiles of a KY45 Excelsior Key and for a KY20 Excelsior Key.  Also if you know where to get blanks for these that would be helpful.  I have two Kennedy Toolboxes that seem to need those.

Thanks!

Hi Mark,

Here are your drawings for the KY45 & KY20 keys. The KY45 key requires an Excelsior E4 blank. The KY20 key requires an E2. At this site Excelsior Key Blank Trunk for sale | eBay the E4 & E2 blanks each cost $14 + $6.90. Best of luck.

Should you decide you’d rather purchase the keys, which may be less expensive, you can check out eBay and Etsy. If that doesn’t work, I have a key cutting machine and can cut them for you, but I’d have to charge for the blanks and mailing.

You have good one……..Ted

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with those lock and key numbers, they're not used on old machinist tool chests. I did some searches for those keys but had no luck. Good luck to you......Ted
