to The Green Man
Dear friends,

All has been a whirlwind of late -- I've started working as
Communications Director for Military Families Speak Out (http://
www.mfso.org,) helping to make the war in Iraq real to people by
helping families tell the stories of the physical, mental, and
spiritual wounds their loved ones have suffered while fighting the
war, and trying to build a movement to bring all the troops home now
and take care of them when they get here. I've also moved to Jamaica
Plain, my favorite Boston neighborhood, and I don't yet have regular
internet access outside of work.

I plan to keep publishing The Green Man -- but once again am being
forced to scale back to a still less ambitious publication schedule:
monthly. Generally I will try to publish on the full moon, but this
month I will be a few days late.

The Center for Mindful Living in Lawrence, MA, which provides the
physical home for my practice, will be having an open house this
Friday, February 22 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Heidi Stucker will be
offering 10 minute introductory massages, and I will be offering short
Reiki sessions. Amanda Parkhurst will be there too with information
on her amazing Jedi classes that use the framework of Star Wars to
teach kids methods of keeping their bodies and spirits healthy.

In other news, I am about to begin a correspondence course in herbal
medicine with Gail Faith Edwards of Blessed Maine Herbs -- what I hope
will be the beginning of a deepening relationship with healing plants.

Blessings of bright light and fertile darkness,
Sean
