Ein: We have a show at 8 tomorrow at the Underground Lounge, 952 West Newport Avenue Chicago, IL 60657-2313. Let me know if you're coming.
Swei: Here's a little perspective on audiences as we embark upon this bag of pretzels we call life:
We pay $150 to Studio Be for each show, that's 30 $5 tickets each night. I'm sure the openers will bring people, but let's not count on it, since they're not indebted to Studio Be. To make this Showboat float, we'll each need to bring in 35 people over the course of the run (that's 4-5 a night). Remember the figure 35 (35 = the Alamo) and aim for that when you're promoting this show. Use whatever tactics necessary, promise healing unctions to the sick and love to the lonely, in order to draw in the rabble.

A note on the theme: we can keep it loose. Clown pants loose. Don't feel constricted by it. We're not going to take the stage and scream "It's Phobias night! Everybody worry about spiders and heights!" The themes are just to give all of the acts a little behind-the-scenes mantra that might help to unify the show.
Sounds purrrrfect! Im good with either.
