Dear Partner,
The Center for Engagement, Environmental Justice, and Health INpowering Communities (CEEJH INC) is pleased to announce that the application for the 2026 Climate Justice Fellows program is open. The deadline to apply is January 11, 2026 (11:59 PM EDT). This 36‑week, mostly virtual training and implementation program (4–10 hours per week) is designed to accommodate a diverse range of candidates from EJ communities in the essential principles of Environmental Justice (EJ) and Climate Justice (CJ). There are two required in-person components of the program. (see the F.A.Q. for a detailed timeline).
Fellows will gain practical skills to address local EJ and CJ challenges, engage directly with technical experts and community leaders, and become empowered advocates for change. Fellows will acquire fundamental knowledge of local Environmental and Climate Justice challenges to take on active roles as community stakeholders, engage in meaningful interactions with technical experts, and establish valuable connections with community leaders, CEEJH mentors, and Senior Climate Fellows. We welcome a diverse range of candidates, age 18 and older, from EJ communities—those with beginner to intermediate knowledge of climate and environmental justice are encouraged to apply. In 2025, we welcome fellows from 16 different countries.
