Greetings to the Group!

I am NOT an obsessed fish-keeper, but I do have a couple of small
tanks and an outside pond with common stock for the serenity they
provide.

Early this summer I bought some pond plants and weed and kept it in a
spare tank for a few weeks which I filled with water just for the
occasion. After I transferred the plants to the real pond, I was
casually gazing into the holding tank and thought I saw movement.
Looking closer I saw little pin-heads swimming around. It was obvious
that some eggs had hitched a ride from the aquarium store's plant
tanks and had just hatched. I've been keeping them segregated in
another tank and there are 14 happoy fish swimming around, each up to
2" long. Obviously they were unidentifiable at that point.

I am curious about the bright gold ones with blue eyes. Is this
common? I had never seen a blue-eyed goldfish (if that's what it is)
before.

Greetings, and welcome.

I've never seen goldfish fry so I'm afraid I can't help you any. Baby
fish are always fun so keep us posted as to how they grow. :-)
