I answered in intros, and wanted to mention that this is a moderated
group, so your posts might get caught in the queue for a few hours
before being posted. You'll notice that there's no spam to wade
through here. It keeps us busy, but we think it's worth it.

It would be neat to relocate the Guppies and see if the Otos spawned.
They possibly are egg scatterers so they would also eat the eggs.
Anyone know for sure?

yes they will, eat the eggs. I had eggs on the glass from a cory that I saw get eaten.

Fish eggs are like candy to children. They can't resist them.
They're also very good nutrition for fish eating them.
So, if you want to save them, separate them.
If you don't want to raise the Otos, then just leave them to eaten.

Thank you actually I think I will separate my guppies and otos and see what happens
In one female the eggs have turned from white to pink and she is getting larger everyday, I do not know if that is a good sign or not, because I know if they don't lay, they will reabsorb the eggs and they do not scatter the eggs , they lay them in acluster under leaves ususally
Does anyone know how long I have to set up my new tank for them, are they going to lay soon or do I have time?

A little research might be needed.

Thanks so much for the links!
Originally I bought them for control of the algae but after about two days there really was not much for them to eat so about once a week I dangle a super folded piece of green marine algae, dried paper like and the guppies go wild and spread little pieces of algae everywhere, the filter does get a full after three days, but most of  the algae settles on rocks and onto the plastic plants, then the next week I put one ball of blanched spinach, it falls to to the bottom and the otos have a feast for a few days, then the guppies finish everything off, also I put a leaf of romaine lettuce , just let it float, provides a guppy sanctuary for when the females give birth and when they don't want to be bothered by the males.
My next challenge is to try real plants, I notice that although the water is not crystal clear, the fish are happier with plant material I need to start with easy plants though because I have been a fish hobbiest only for a couple of years so am still a  beginner.

I like when people experiment with foods. Shows a level of
involvement & awareness that is beyond 'beginner'.

imo Water parameters are key, no NH3, no NO2, relatively low NO3, dgH
and dkH not to any extremes (ie: 2 to 12) and the water's acidity is
not to an extreme and stable. When you have these under control (or
even know how and why to measure them), you are not a beginner.
