Newsletter 10/30 Hey jameise,
Home.
It's been a long time coming but I am finally settling into New York City. Staying put will allow me to do something I've wanted to do for a while: put down roots in NYC. In the last week, I've gotten a co-working desk, a trainer, and signed up for a cooking class.
Today's blog post is about why I've put my backpack in the closet to collect dust.
But before we get to that, I have two important announcements:
1. There are only two spots left on my upcoming Thailand tour. We'll be traveling around my favorite country in February 2014 for 18 days. I'll show you why it's one of the greatest countries in the world. If you're interested in traveling together, learn more about signing up here.
2. Last week I released my newest book, The Ultimate Guide to Travel Hacking. It demystifies how to use frequent flier miles and loyalty programs to get free flights and hotel rooms without having to travel a lot. When you're trying to take your family on holiday or save money on your round the world trip, not paying for flights can get you where you want to go quicker! Click here to get the book.

Home: The Death of a Nomad
This is the story of how one nomad got tired of too many false starts and decided it was really time to settle down in NYC. I'm putting the backpack away....at least for a while.
My Love Note to The Irish
I recently went to Ireland to find castle ruins, rolling green hills, lucky charms, pots of gold, and drink Guinness. But what I really found during my visit was that the locals are what really make this country so special.
