FYI to all , i received this email from a co-worker. 

One of my housemates works for the Recording Industry Association of America and he just forwarded us a few links of the new regulations on downloading content and the new Six Strikes Anti-piracy campaign (not saying any of you do) just forwarding important information. 

From my housemate's email: 

"ISPs will soon start to implement the "Six Strikes Rule" against anyone suspected of uploading or downloading infringing content. They do this by monitoring a person's computer IP address that visits identified infringing sites. It also has the potential to slow down our already slow internet connection. Here's a breakdown on how AT&T will implement the "Six Strikes Rule":

Also since Kevin is the primary holder of the house account any legal action will directly affect him since the ISPs go directly to the account holder and not the person who downloaded or uploaded the content."

Thought some of you might benefit from knowing this. And all of us using the IP address of Affinity Lab would be happy to maintain good internet connection!

yup... been talking about it for the past few months actually. as with all things like this, there will be ways around. they're trying to scare people like you, and its working, haha. there are precautions to take if you're worried about getting caught.
